NYRS offers different lesson options, each at varying yet affordable prices. They are as follows:
Non-beginner lessons last two hours each and can be a combination of showjumping, dressage, and hunters, depending on what the student would like to practice in that lesson. Lessons take place under the lesson board, more specifically under the student's name. Lessons are guaranteed to help the student excel in any discipline he/she desires to learn.
If you have your own horse, you are more than welcome to ride him/her in your lessons. If you choose to do this, you may subtract $100 from the total monthly fee. This only applies if the horse is boarded at NYRS.
To own a horse, you must first take lessons for the equivalent of one week. If you choose to take one lesson per week, you must take a total minimum of seven lessons. If you choose to take seven lessons per week (or another option) and quit as soon as you have taken seven lessons to own your own horse, you may subtract the full cost of the monthly fee from your first month of board.
