Looking to lease a horse? You've come to the right place! Currently, there are five horses available for full lease:
Each of the lesson horses are also available for half-lease at a set price of $350/month.

Thank you for considering leasing one of our horses!
- Triton's Rescue - $575/month
- Code d'Amour - $600/month
- Handsome Calling - $650/month
- Dulce Victoria - $575/month
- Orion's Belt - $525/month
Each of the lesson horses are also available for half-lease at a set price of $350/month.
Advantages of leasing:
- The only thing you have to pay for is the lease fee - any veterinary fees, feed, and farrier charges are taken care of.
- Tack is provided - you may use any of the tack offered by NYRS, free of charge.
- You are guaranteed a high-quality horse and have access to all history and previous placings in shows.
- If at any time the expense becomes too great, you can simply get out of the lease. You don't have to wait months to sell your horse.
- There is no fee in participating in NYRS-hosted shows.
- Lessons up to three times a week are included in the cost of leasing; to calculate the cost of lessons four times per week and up, simply multiply 15 by the number of lessons and add that to the lease fee.
- If the leased horse is injured and is out of work for a month or more, you will not be required to pay the lease fee for the duration of that month. If a horse you own is injured, you have to not only continue to pay the board but also pay for the veterinary services.
- If you outgrow the leased horse, you may simply move on to another, bigger horse without having to worry about waiting months to sell it.
- If you are a beginner, you don't have to worry about buying a horse that is too advanced for you or one that you will quickly surpass in ability as you progress in riding.
With a half lease, you may come out three times a week and ride, not including your lesson. With a full lease, you may come out every day and ride, even if you take lessons only once per week.
